Thinking

I lie here awake, thinking of you
as I normally do, I just wish
i could see you, now in this light
and maybe it would be ok
i wouldn't cry any more
and i could sleep in your arms
and feel the warmth of you embrace
i know its a dream a real fantasy
but as drift in to a slumber
i can dream those happy things
and hope that when i wake up
there is more of a chance
of you and me
together
